Ryanair will introduce its own branded MasterCard prepaid card in the UK in October. The card will be managed by Access Prepaid Worldwide, and Ryanair's £6 administration fee will not apply to UK bookings completed with the card from 4th October. All UK bookings made with any other UK MasterCard prepaid card will attract Ryanair's £6 fee from 1st November.
bmibaby has won the Best Low Cost Airline Award in the prestigious Cond‚ Nast Traveller 2011 Reader Awards. The airline, launched in 2002 as a low-cost regional offshoot of bmi, operates services to 39 destinations across Europe from UK bases at Cardiff, Birmingham, Belfast, Manchester and East Midlands. Unlike other budget airlines, such as easyJet and Ryanair, bmibaby allocates seats at check-in, offers free online check-in for passengers travelling with cabin baggage and has a more generous checked-luggage allowance of 22kg.
